ATTENTION
At the end of FY2024, the District stopped charging a Capital Improvement Fee (CIF) for the restoration of the aging Lagoon Pond Water Pumping Station (circa 1880’s), the oldest active pumping station in the Commonwealth.
The goal of the CIF was to create a fund to update the building. This fund is now in place and starting in FY2026, the district will begin to create a plan to prioritize work to be done at this historic structure. These funds can only be applied to the restoration expenses of the Lagoon Pond Pumping Station (MASSDEP 4221000-01G).
